Hemlock Wide Plank Flooing

Products from Northern Stable Supply was used in our new home build. We used the Rustic Trim, Norway Pine Flooring and Siding which makes our new home a rustic, cozy Cottage of our Dreams. We also obtained pine which we used to make wooden counter tops. Thanks to Ron & Debbie for your help and the ease of working together.

Yes absolutely! Our experience with Northern Stable Supply Co. LTD was very positive. Ron and Deb from the day we walked in gave us the attention, knowledge and confidence we needed to make our decision just so easy. We’ve completed the new kitchen floors and walls still need to do small finishes. This fall we will be completely renovating the cabin so we will be going to chat with them very soon. I’m sure our 2nd experience will be just as positive as the first. We have and always recommend them whenever asked or if we know of friends building or renovating. We also luv to support a local small family business whenever we can it’s so important. I can’t say enough about Ron and Deb and we’re so happy we decided to stop in! It was great meeting and working with them they treated us like friends and that kind of connection is hard to find in today’s retail where you feel like a number not a person lol. We’ll be dropping in soon to chat about the rest of the cabin. See you soon guys ðŸ˜Š

A few pics as we were working on the kitchen and outside the cottage just so beautiful there.

I purchased 7.5" white oak flooring from Ron and Debbie for essentially the entire main floor of my new home. I cannot express how much I love this floor. It is so easy to clean, it feels warm under foot...some of my guests thought I had heated floors, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I even hosted friends with a dog for a few days and I cannot see a single scratch on the floor. Everyone from trades to family and friends all comment on how beautiful the floor is. To top it off, Ron and Debbie are just salt of the earth people who have been a joy to deal with. They are very responsive and you can tell that they love and take pride in what they do. I am so grateful. Highly, highly recommend. Will post pics if I can

My name is Steve Blimkie. We just completed a new build, 4 bedroom/3 bath all season cottage on Redstone Lake in Haliburton County, and Northern Stable Supply of Trout Creek, Ontario provided us with all of our exterior siding, interior pine and hemlock flooring. The wood products are beautiful, and of superior quality to anything we could have sourced in the city. And generally their prices were lower. Service was fantastic, and Ron, Debbie and Morgan of NS were a pleasure to deal with throughout - they made us feel appreciated and valued as customers right from the start. Followup in terms of providing the proper maintenance treatments and cleaning products was also excellent. I have no hesitation recommending their products and I will continue to work with them going forward. One tip, however in choosing their flooring - because it is milled on site they can provide the product with varying degrees of saw cuts so as to achieve a dramatically rustic look and feel, or a smoother more finished presentation. We went with a low saw cut profile which probably took a little longer to mill, but the result was exactly what we wanted - a little bit rustic, comfortable to walk on in bare feet and perfect for a cottage feel."
